Our coaches are qualified discussion partners who assist in developing those aspects of yourself that you most need in your present position.
Individual leadership development based on extensive experience
MiL Institute has worked with management training and coaching since 1977. The approach has always been based on the managers’ own assignments at their place of work, and the actual situations they are facing – rather than from theoretical constructions and hypothetical cases. Thus we are equipped to offer a broad selection of coaching based on the experience we have amassed over the years.
Individual coaching - a personal coach to provide support and development
We start with a free introductory talk of some length. Next comes a meeting with a MiL coach. After this an agreement is drawn up specifying the frequency of sessions, which can be between 8-14 occasions. The focus usually homes in on personal leadership skills, working with dilemmas and reflecting on how to solve different leadership tasks. These 2-hour sessions are held at varying intervals – usually a bit closer together at the outset.
Executive coaching – using dialogue to develop your business activities
MiL Institute offers a complete, tailor-made design in order to identify the correct level of coach. Only then is a contract drawn up for an individually adapted plan: everything from short, rapid telephone consultations to full days where no disturbances are allowed. This comes with a high degree of accessibility, the possibility to check out an upcoming situation more or less immediately with the coach. Your company operations are the main focus for these discussions, with analyses, assessment of various possible actions, and broadening of perspectives, together with a constructive review of your personal leadership style.
Individual coaching in groups – individual development using all the group resources
Tailored to honing your own leadership skills, leadership training, practical training and coaching and exchange of experiences between members of the group. A coaching group consists of six participants and a MiL coach. The group meets for eight days spread over 8-12 months. Each meeting has a set structure with repeated features such as an initial check-in, a review of the learning contract and specific requests based on actual circumstances at work.
