Innovation and concrete results
Much of what is unique in what we do lies in the inter-play between member companies and MiL Institute. This co-creation has been going on for decades with some of our most active members, which has resulted in regenerating fresh progress in their development.
Contact persons of the member companies
Member companies select one or several contact persons to represent the organisation’s interests at MiL Institute. It can be the firm’s MD or Head of HR and whoever is principally responsible for managerial and leadership development.

MiL Member Workshop for strategic development
On the MiL Member Workshop our member companies get a free days’ coaching on a strategic development project. 3-5 people from each member company can participate, precisely those in the organisation for whom the issue to be dealt with is most pertinent. The day also includes shorter workshops and seminars offering relevant new knowledge that gets the group moving forward with the issue. On day two the participants are welcome to attend lectures being given in our classic MiL Day way courses.
MiL Seminars for inspiration
Member companies in MiL are offered its network of people from different companies
with whom to exchange their knowledge and experience in inspiring ways. Exchanging
experience in ways that delve deeply into the questions at hand, and gaining
knowledge and methods that are directly applicable in their own company. MiL
Seminars are offered on different themes in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Lund/Malmö.
Member Coaching for on-going everyday learning
In the course of one year the contact persons from member companies are entitled to two half-days’ support and challenge on a relevant operations-related issue. It takes place in a group consisting of four to five people from other member companies and a MiLcoach. This way the organisation gets the benefit of the MiL network and the contact person has fresh learning every year.
Books and articles for new learning
Many of our MiL coaches do research and constantly write articles and books on the subject of leadership. This is to our member companies’ advantage through workshops and MiL seminars where the participants receive the book for free.
MiL Concepts
Twice a year we send out an article with newly-acquired knowledge, free of charge and exclusively for our member companies.

Rebates on development work for members
MiL Institute offers a number of open leadership development activities. We naturally give our member companies rebates for these. When a member company sends a participant on e.g. the MiL Programme for Experienced Managers, it has already covered its membership fee.

MiL Institute's member companies
Many of MiL’s member companies are large international corporations, or major universities, county councils, civil service departments and local authorities. However, we also have medium and small-sized firms in the membership circle. It’s not the size of the organisation that matters but its interest in developing good leadership, a meaningful organisation, effective working methods and profitable strategies.

There are three types of membership. An ordinary one, one for companies wishing to have more contact people, as well as one for smaller firms.
